About Our Lawyer

Mr. Arul Suppiah Thevar started practice in 1999. Mr. Arul founded Arul & Co in April 2002. Since its inception, the firm has been handling and been exposed to varied areas of practice.

Mr. Arul has been in the Legal Aid panel and a volunteer at the Beyond Social Service since 2001. Our clients described Mr. Arul as a “man with a heart” and able to work towards providing resolution to their cases in the most practical and fair manner.

Mr. Arul has given talks, lectures and tutorials in some notable institutions.

Areas of Practice and Experiences

His scope of work includes bankruptcy, contracts, company law, conveyancing, corporate, civil litigation, criminal litigation, employment matters, estate, trust and probate, family law, immigration matters, insurance, labour law and personal injury. Mr. Arul is familiar with both litigious and non litigious work.

Mr. Arul attends matters in the High Court, Subordinate Court, Family Court, Juvenile Court, and Syariah Court. He also has experiences in public inquiry matters such as the Nicoll Highway Collapse and other labour matters.

Mr. Arul also offers free advices to Family Service Centers, presented talks to insurance companies, invited to give talks at educational institutions. Mr. Arul continues to provide support and presentations to relevant institutions when called upon.
